Outstanding Philantrhopist of the Year: Larry Gibson
A true philanthropist, Larry Gibson has shared his business success with the community and has given back in a personal way with a significant gift to the Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario at Kingston General Hospital. Other significant leadership gifts have been directed to young children and animals.

Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser of the Year: Peter Kingston
For the past 20 years, Peter has been and active volunteer for numerous regional organizations. Demonstrating leadership at the "board table" and in the "fundraising trenches", he believes in giving back to the community ensuring an improved quality of life for all and building a legacy for others to benefit fron in the years ahead.

Outstanding Corporation: Star Tek
Through their involvement with Kingston's hospitals, Star Tek has helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars supporting projects and equipment purchases. Assisting with regional special events, their enthusiastic and willing volunteers have made the difference in making fundraising extraordinary.

Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy: Felicia Marshall
A student of Module Vanier, at age 14 Felicia knows what it means to give back to the community. Having learned early from her great grandmother, grandmother and father, she turns her volunteer hand in any way she can. Supporting Volunteer & Information Kingston selling Kiwanis fishing derby tickets, stuffing participant bags for the Annual Mayor's Walk, volunteering at her church or at school she is making a difference.
