The Museum is Canada’s national resource for health care history. Through exhibitions, guided tours, education programs, our online collection catalogue, and a curated blog, we provide a wide ranging audience access to Canada’s rich health care past. We strive to inspire wonder, promote learning, and create knowledge that will contribute to a better future in health and health care.

The Canadian Frailty Network (CFN) is Canada’s sole network devoted to changing behaviours that help slow down, avoid or mitigate the risks of frailty in older adults. It also improves care for older Canadians living with frailty by supporting their families and caregivers.

The Canadian Association of Business Students (CABS) is a not for profit organization that represents over 70,000 business students from 23 universities in Canada. Our purpose is simple; to develop superior talent and leadership within business students across Canada. We organize some of the largest business student conferences and competitions which involve leadership development and personal growth.

The Canadian Association for Girls In Science (CAGIS) is Canada’s largest and longest-running STEM club for girls, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming youth aged 7-16. This award-winning club, founded in 1992, supports interest in Science, Technology, Trades, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) with virtual programming and local clubs that visit labs, workshops, and field sites to meet mentors and do fun, hands-on activities.

CORK / Sail Kingston has been hosting sailing regattas for 56 years, including the 1976 Montreal Olympic Sailing Venue. We host 8-12 regattas each summer, with over 1,000 athletes and coaches and their families joining us. CORK is a sailing tradition that spans generations. We operate with 1 full time staff and over 100 volunteers!

Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada is made up of a dedicated team of staff, volunteers and health care professionals, all working together for the same goal: End brain tumours. Our head office is located in London, Ontario. We are unique in that we work to serve the needs of Canadians affected by both malignant and non-malignant brain tumours. Hope and support are at the core of everything we do – whether it’s funding new and exciting research into brain tumour treatments, or bringing patients, survivors, and families closer together at our Brain Tumour Walk events and support groups. By providing support, education, information and research funding, Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada has been making a difference in the lives of the over 55,000 Canadians currently living with a brain tumour and thousands more before them. Since 1985, more than $9.4 million in direct funding to research has been raised.

Site based Mentoring Programs Our SBM program requires a commitment of a minimum of a couple of hours a week, once a week for a minimum of one year from the Match date. Matches connect on site at our 1300 Bath Road Location where we have open gym space, a fitness center and indoor play structure available in the evenings.  We also have a lounge space that can be booked for crafts, board games and other lowkey activities.  Matches are also encouraged to attend our evening Big Bunch program and other potential special events the agency runs.  Site-Based Mentors are required to follow through with their commitments over the summer months. Big Bunch Programs Big bunch is an evening program that takes place weekly. This program is primarily for young people on our waitlist however some matches do attend. Volunteers join our staff team in implementing social emotional wellness programs including but not limited to nutrition, active lifestyle, & arts and crafts. Volunteers support in program implementation as well as providing valuable mentorship to participants.  Volunteers are required to commit to a minimum of one night per week. In School Mentoring Our ISM program is for Children who are referred to the program by staff at the school.  Volunteers are required to commit to meeting the young person they are Matched with once a week for an hour for the duration of the school year (typically starting in October-December until April-June).  Matches meet in a separate space set aside by the school and hangout and do puzzles, play board games and do arts and crafts.  Occasionally there may be an active space available.  School Based Group Programs Our staff team goes during school hours and runs 8-week curriculum programs focused on social emotional wellness topics like empathy, confidence, internet safety and more. Volunteers are required to commit to one program for the 8-week duration.
